NO SPAM, PLEASE -- Microsoft Online Cyber Lotto Draws
Another spam winning notification using the name of Microsoft received yesterday. AS usual the sender, Barr. Rose Woods, purported herself as Public Relations Officer of Microsoft and informed about the winning of £450,000GBP (Four hundred and fifty thousand British Pounds Sterling) and HP ENVY 14 series laptop.
To authenticate their spam mail cyber criminals used the names of other organizations like British Gaming Board and International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).
In the end asked, as usual, to furnish the personal details to the Fiduciary Agent, Dr. Paul Williams, for processing the prize. The contents of the mail are given below:
